I won the American Conservatory Theater’s Mamet Writing Contest!
I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank my boyfriend. And God. And my agent. And my acupuncturist. And my therapist. And David Mamet. And my Christmas tree. Which is still up. Because of all the writing. Maybe now I can take it down. And replace it with stacks of scripts. Which isn’t that different from a tree anyway if you think about it. I’m sure we’ll hardly notice the difference. Maybe we could have the tree made directly into paper.
