I discovered my superpower today. I can dry out Sharpie markers even when their lids are on. I haven’t quite found a use for my power yet – it’s more of a straight-up inconvenience to date – but I will. Oh, I will. Don’t you worry.
Right now I’m just trying to stay calm and not question why I was the one chosen to carry this gift. I will do my best to hold up under the massive responsibility. This week, I’m going to focus really, really hard on training my power so I can use it for good when the time comes. And I’m praying I don’t fall into the hands of someone who knows how to use me for evil. Oh – and I’m staying away from Office Depot just in case things get out of hand. That should keep me busy for at least a week.

When you figure out how to project this power then you’ll be a superhero to reckon with. Until then, I suppose I will save my reckoning for Aquaman.
