1984?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that we sent the Iranians our Obama message on videotape? Why didn’t we just go all the way and send it on an 8-track? Or a laser disc.

Was this a “we’re speakin’ their language” thing, since scaries release their stuff on videotapes? I always thought that was because they were just, you know, living in caves, not because that’s the preferred format for international correspondence. I guess I was wrong, huh?
