Liar

Every time I come home from downtown, I pass the Design Within Reach store down the street. I see all the stuff in the windows. I see all the stuff in the store. I see all the stuff. And the one time I call them to see if they have something in stock that I’ve seen on the web site, they politely inform me that they would be happy to place the order for me with their warehouse. I say I will stop by. They say they would be delighted to place the order for me. I ask why I can’t just come by and pick up the item. I live only three blocks away. I would be equally delighted to save them the trouble. I will come by and pick it up. No I won’t, it turns out. It turns out you cannot go into the store and actually walk out with something you did not just steal out from under all these good natured employees. Design Within Reach my ass. It is specifically NOT within my reach, you misnomered numbskulls.
