Ironic, isn’t it?

My favorite comment of the week came from Bradley Blakeman, one of W’s aides, talking about how much the Obamas have been going out in Washington: “Every once in a while it’s great, but there’s a chance of overexposing yourself socially. People scratch their heads and say, “Doesn’t the president have other things to do, especially in a crisis?’ ”

I love this, coming from a guy who worked for a guy who spent more than 30% of his time in the presidency on vacation, cleared brush religiously and was in bed every night by nine during a war he personally started.

The depth and consistency of the shameless self-delusion of the Bushies is – what’s the word? I guess I’ll go with “impressive”.
